Lanzarote is the eastern island of the Canary Islands and is located 128 km from the coast of Africa. The climate is very sunny, little rain and good temperatures even in winter, rarely fail to 20 degrees. Lanzarote is characterized by Its many places of interest. It is a unique combination of nature and culture, with excellent beaches of fine sand.
César Manrique (1919-1992), was the main curator of the island and a famous artist, leaving an important legacy at works of art and unique architecture of intervention, while protective in nature as Jameos del Agua and his house built on stunning volcanic bubbles being at the present, the seat of his Fundación.
Lanzarote has a beautiful nature, with a great diversity of landscapes, from the lava fields in the south to the green valleys of a thousand palmtrees villages on the north. In fact, Lanzarote in 1994 was recognized by UNESCO and mentioned as protected biosphere reserve.
